- Yoshifumi (Fred) Masaki is a graduate with M.S/B.S in Engineering of Osaka University.
He worked for Sharp Corporation as engineer specialized in semiconductor circuit design.
He has broadened his career by working with Intel Corporation for a joint project with Sharp Corporation after several years of experience in research and development at affiliated American company of Sharp Corporation.
- He pursued his further career as a patent attorney and qualified professionally in 1999.
- In 2004 he has started his own business as Masaki Patent Office known as Athena Patent Office formerly established in 2002.
He is engaged exclusively in intellectual property counseling, procecution, analysis of the scope and validity of patents in a variety of settings, including licensing, litigation and strategic planning.
